NMT-based assessment and consultation services. The Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) is an approach to clinical work that incorporates key principles of neurodevelopment into the clinical problem-solving process. The NMT Metric is the primary tool. It provides a semi-structured assessment of important developmental experiences, good and bad, and a current picture of brain organization and functioning. From it, estimates of relative risk, resilience and brain-mediated strengths and weaknesses can be derived, which aid the clinician in the ongoing therapeutic process.
A track record that travels. Keynotes, conference workshops, and multi-day intensives delivered across the US and internationally. A selection:

- NMT Metric — The most extensive assessment. Includes 3-5 hours of virtual assessment with youth, family and stakeholders, 3 hours of document review and metric preparation, and 1 hour of virtual presentation of the completed Metric with extensive personalized recommendations.
- NMT Follow-Up Metric — Recommended at the 6-month and 1-year mark to assess progress and update recommendations. Includes approximately 3 hours of interviews and updated record review, then presentation of the new Metric and personalized recommendations.
- NMT ER Metric — Recommended for new or previously assessed youth who have recently had a change in circumstances, placement or functioning, where a rapid assessment of immediate needs is required. A snapshot in time of current functioning only, with no developmental risk or historical record review. Presentation of the Metric and personalized abridged recommendations included.
- The Caregiver Challenge Estimator (CCE) — Provides an estimate of the 'caregiving burden' facing a primary caregiver at a given moment in time. It sets out potential resources categorized as “Internal Resources” and “External Resources”, which help estimate the strengths or vulnerabilities of the caregiving environment of a home. The challenge posed by the children is weighed against the resources of the caregiving setting to determine a caregiving “Reserve” score. An excellent tool for assessing foster, adoptive, kinship and respite placements. The estimator can be bundled with an NMT Metric for a child, or done independently as an assessment of a caregiver.
- Mobius Care Tile & Grout Therapeutic Scheduling Tool — The goal of the Tile & Grout approach is not to adhere to a rigid therapeutic schedule, but to promote a comprehensive process of therapeutic planning; thoughtful selection of providers, approaches, therapies and therapists; and a vision of therapy as continuous and contextual. Tracking the typical events of a week reveals the regulatory and developmental baseline for the child, and allows analysis to identify rhythms, opportunities for supporting caregiver and child interactions, and times when various therapeutic modalities or developmental scaffolding can be provided.
Best completed in consultation with the family team, approximately one hour, in order to identify locally available options and services for the youth and family. Recommended at the time of the initial Metric, with quarterly follow-up as needed.
- NMT Consultation — Follow-up consultation services for families, schools, child protective services and other providers after an NMT Metric, to assist with implementation and education.
- Trauma-Informed Supervision — The Neurosequential Model in Reflection and Supervision (NMRS) is an outgrowth of the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics. Supervision is available for social workers, students and mental health professionals.

Privacy policy
What this policy covers. This policy explains how antiochcounselingandconsulting.com handles information you share through this website. It does not cover clinical records. If you are a client of the practice, your treatment records are protected health information governed by HIPAA and by Ohio, New York, and New Jersey law, and they are described in the Notice of Privacy Practices you receive at intake.
What we collect. Only what you choose to type into an inquiry form: your name, email address, phone number, your organization if you provide one, the type of inquiry you select, and the message you write. There are no accounts to create, and nothing else is collected from you.
How we use it. Your information is used for one purpose: to respond to your inquiry and, if you would like, to arrange a consultation, a training, or a first appointment. It is never sold, rented, traded, or used for advertising, and it is not shared with anyone outside the practice except the service providers described below.
Where it is stored. This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you submit a form, your message travels over an encrypted connection to our own server code and is stored in a private Airtable base that only Abby and authorized practice staff can open. Cloudflare and Airtable are independent companies that process this information on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms.
Please do not send clinical details through this site. A website form is a convenient way to start a conversation, but it is not a secure, HIPAA-compliant channel. Share only what you need to in order to reach out, and save detailed medical, clinical, or personal history for a phone call or another secure channel we set up with you. If you are in crisis or facing an emergency, do not use this form — call or text 988, or call 911.
Cookies, analytics, and tracking. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising trackers, and does not follow you across other websites. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and request times, for security and reliability.
How long we keep it. Inquiries are kept as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep an accurate record of the requests we have received. If your inquiry later becomes part of a clinical record because you become a client, that record follows the retention rules for health records rather than this policy.
Your choices. You can ask what information this website holds about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your inquiry. Email the address below and we will take care of it.
Children. The practice works with children and families, but this website is intended for adults. Inquiries should be submitted by a parent, guardian, or professional rather than by a child, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 through this site.
Changes to this policy. If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
